Subject:
Grant of leave to IP/ASP’s reg.
Respected
sir,
This is regarding grant of leave to
IP/ASP’s in Karnataka Circle. We have seen the CO letter dated
STA/1-21/ASP/MISC/II dated 31.01.2014. We are shocked. It is unfortunate that
such a circular is being issued which has no precedence in Karnataka circle
till date. May we know whether such kind of instruction is issued to other
cadres also? If No, then why IPASPOs are singled out. There are No instances of
non co-operation by the IPASPO’s in conducting any type of examination in the
past.
These instructions are normally
issued during strike period. The association is not called for any kind of
strike/protest during this period.
It is learnt that arrangements are
made for smooth conduct of Postman/Mail guard examination to be held on
09.02.2014. Sir may also assess the involvement of IPASPOs in processing/
scrutinizing the applications, from the divisional heads. We have taken it as
challenging task and make it 100% success. But issuing of such instructions
will demoralize the working spirit of IPASPOs and it is very much unfortunate.
No
IP/ASP goes on leave without a genuine reason. It is requested to withdraw this
letter immediately
Thanking you sir,
Yours faithfully,
Sd/-
