After 4 days - GDS strike called off

         Member (P) convened a meeting with the representatives of the All India Gramin Dak Sevaks Union today at 1600 hrs.  After brief discussion on their Charter of Demands, the staff side agreed to withdraw the  strike.   The strike has accordingly been called off.
