Dear Comrade,

The process of verification of membership of our Association is commenced. The copy of the Letter of Authorisation( Annexure II) is enclosed. It is kindly requested that the signed letter of authorization is obtained from all the members of our Association from your Division / Office and sent to me so as to reach my office on or before 20.03.2010.

As decided in the last Circle Conference, our blog (www.ipaspkarnataka.blogspot.com) is already created and being viewed by many members now. I am also happy to inform that 34 members have booked their tickets to attend All India Conference in Delhi. In this regard I have already sent a letter to CPMG to grant Spl CL to the members. The list of members is available on the blog.

Regarding upgradation of Grade pay to IPs, now the merger of IP and ASP is being heard from CHQ. A final decision has to be taken now by the CHQ. However we are endorsing the views as decided in our last Circle Conference. Our members headed by Sri Jayanth Kumar and others who approached Hon CAT Bangalore in 2006 have prepared a representation to DG Posts. A copy is available on the blog. All the IP members may send a copy of this through their proper channel.

Please remember to collect the signed Letter of Authorization and forward immediately. I also request you to kindly view the blog for the appeal of Circle Treasurer and pay the donations as decided in the last Conference please.
