Subject : Promotion and postings in Postal Services Group ‘B’ cadre.

Respected Madam,

            We are enclosing herewith a copy of representation dated 23/2/2015 received from Shri Naveenchandar, ASP, Bantval Sub Division (Karnataka) regarding non  selection in PS Gr. B cadre in the DPC held for the year 2013-14.

          Shri Naveenchandar has passed Inspector Posts Examination-1992 in SC category. His name was not considered in the DPC held on 20/2/2015 for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B the year vacancy year 2013-14, as his name was inadvertently seems to be shown the seniority list of IP batch 1993. The officer has already submitted his representation through proper channel on 4/11/2011 for correction in seniority list but due attention was found not given to officer’s representation either at Directorate level or CO level. In the above said memo, 8 junior officers to Naveenchandar are promoted to PS Gr. B cadre on regular basis.

          It is therefore earnestly requested to kindly convene the review DPC at the earliest to give appropriate justice to the applicant.  

          An early action and line in reply is requested.
